Septic System Maintenance Contracts

Septic system service contracts are a great way to achieve peace of mind. If you are a Collin County, Texas aerobic system homeowner we would like to become your maintenance service provider. We offer three types of service contracts for Collin County Texas aerobic system owners: Bronze, Silver, and Gold.

What you need to know

Texas state law mandates that all owners of aerobic septic systems maintain a valid maintenance contract in force at all times. Each maintenance contract must be provided by a maintenance company holding a Class II OSSF or Class D license. In addition the maintenance company must be certified to maintain your particular brand of system. (Brand names are usually placed on the control box or inspection lid of your system).

Recent regulatory changes allow local option approval for Texas homeowners to be trained and certified to inspect their own aerobic septic systems. Please note that Collin County has not chosen to to approve this option. Therefore all aerobic systems must be annually inspected by a a liscensed OSSF company.

New systems come with a two year service contract included in the purchase price. At the end of two years you may renew with your current contractor or seek another service provider. It is the homeowner's responsibility to obtain a new contract at least 30 days prior to the expiration of the existing contract. Failure to do so will result in fines from the County of $2,500 per day. These are statutory fines that are mandated by state law.

Each time we inspect and/or service your aerobic system we attach a door hanger to the front door of your home showing that we have been by and explicitly describing the fact that we have inspected or serviced your system. The next day we fax a copy of your current maintenance contract and our service report to your County's controlling authority. To make certain that the county gets your compliance certification we also mail a copies of the maintenance contract and service certificate to the County. We have found this double-safe approach eliminates potential problems resulting in County records showing non-compliance when in fact you are in compliance.

If you have received a letter from your County warning that they do not have a current aerobic system contract on file, contact us immediately as we can often help you avoid unnecessary daily penalites by placing you under immediate contract. Because non-compliance is such a potentially expensive problem for homeowners we are making the following special offer: Sign up with us for a year of maintenance anytime during your existing service contract and we will honor that contract for free and add an additional year to your current service period.

BRONZE SERVICE - $185 per year (to be paid in full during our initial visit). Service includes:

Three visits and three reports per year as required by Texas state law of aerobic system owners.
Any needed repairs are an additional $75 plus parts.
48 business hour response time.

SILVER SERVICE - $95 down and $40 per month via credit card only or $495 annually. Service includes:

Three visits and three reports per year as required by Texas state law of aerobic systems owners.
Complete chlorine maintenance. We monitor your chlorine usage and provide all required chemicals.
Bacterial enzyme treatments to speed breakdown of organic matter from in-line garbage disposals.
Any needed repairs are an additional $75 plus parts.
48 business hour response time.

Our Silver Service level is for those homeowners who do not want to be bothered with monitoring and handling unstabilized chlorine.

GOLD SERVICE - $95 down and $50 per month via credit card only or $595 annually. Service includes:

Three visits and three reports per year as required by Texas state law of aerobic systems owners.
Complete chlorine maintenance. We monitor your chlorine usage and provide all required chemicals.
Bacterial enzyme treatments to speed breakdown of organic matter from in-line garbage disposals.
No additional $75 charge for service calls.
All required repairs, parts, labor including tank cleaning and pumping for customers who had their tank cleaned or pumped within the 30 day period prior to contract initiation.
24 business hours response time.

Our Gold Service level is for the homeowner who wants the assurance that all system problems will be dealt with promptly and that all non-abusively generated problems will be 100 percent covered by the maintenance contract.

About Our Referral Program

If you are a current aerobic system mantenance contract customer, you are eligible to earn $15.00 off your next renewal fee for each qualified referral that results in a new maintenance contract. Participation is simple: Just tear off the perforated tag at the bottom of the door hanger we leave after each of our service visits, fill in your name in the "you were referred by" blank, and give it to a neighbor or friend. If they sign a new maintenance contract with us, and give us the tag, you will automatically receive $15 off your next bill. There's no limit to this offer, so you may want to make copies of the tag should you want to refer us to more than one person.
